The Flower Fields
The flower fields of Carlsbad are one of its annual trademarks visitors and residents alike look forward to come spring. From March through may, over the past 60 years, the Flower fields bring families and individuals to marvel at the many colors and spectrums of gorgeous flowers. There are close to 50 acres of wildflowers blooming and displaying their array of spectacular colors. The flower fields are located at Carlsbad Ranch.
Season: Spring (March 12 through May 8, 2005)
Hours: Open to the public seven days a week
from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM March 12-April 2, 2005,
and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM April 3-May 8, 2005.

The Four Seasons
The Four seasons, as with many other large cities is known for its elegance and luxury. So it is no surprise they have excelled at bringing the same to San Diego county. Not only does this golf course boast Arnold Palmer signature golf, but the breathtaking views of the ocean are phenomenal. Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park
This preserved park lies on over 27 acres. Its beautifully green and lush walking trails are just one of the great features of this historic park. You can take a self guided tour which will take you a little over an hour or attend one of the guided tours. The Leo Carrillo historic park was an actual ranch home at one time. It has been preserved because of its uniqueness and timeless history. Its original preserved items are the adobe construction, as well as many of the aesthetic features such as cantina, reflecting pool, and carriage house.

Legoland
Legoland California has just about everything you see and touch made out of Lego's. Imagine houses, people, cars, and trains, all sculptured, by hand in Lego's. The park also has a new sports complex with altered style basketball courts, soccer, and football fields
There is an area of miniature scaled down size versions of some of the U.S. metropolis cities, these include New York City, and San Francisco.
Legoland invite kids to use their imagination and interact with the many structures, and rides throughout the park. For adults wishing to have a reprieve from the kid packed park, there is a beer garden and food court.

South Carlsbad State Beach
This San Diego beach features swimming, surfing, skin diving, fishing and picnicking. The large bluff-top campground is very popular, especially in summer. Stairs lead to the beach.
