In this hip downtown joint not only can you get amazing barbeque and other great sandwiches like the Wipeout, Off the Lip but Geno the owner, will prepare meat by the pound for you to take home and grill yourself if you wish. What the restaurant is known for s its large Unburger- which is anything but: it has tri-tip steak with melted jack cheese, sautéed onions, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and Geno's special mayo. Hooleys Irish Pub & Grill Hooley- Which means a spirited, lively party is just the kind of place one feels welcome. Its décor and Irish pub are truly authentic in that every bit of furniture and woodwork is imported from Ireland. Hooleys invites you to get warm, have a Guinness, and make friends with the stranger next you. The food is authentic Irish fare with boxtys (traditional pancakes) served omelette-style and Irish stew. Although it's a pub, kids are welcome, and eat free with purchase of an adult entrée. Jasmine Bistro Jasmine Bistro is a great unique Asian restaurant that serves Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian dishes. It is a great restaurant just adjacent to the mall, without the mall feeling. It has a lovely outdoor patio and also a lounge. Its dishes are extremely reasonable lunches that include rice, salad and a choice of soup. There is always a tray of different styles of dim sum going around to choose from. Be sure to try the lettuce wrap for starters my favorite is the Chicken Pad Thai. You can choose your level of spiciness on any of the dishes as well. Be sure to try the passion fruit jasmine tea. With these large portions, and friendly staff, Jasmine Bistro is a hit.
