Café de Thai offers those a mix of Thai along with Japanese food, in thir traditional restaurant. The food is not eclectic, but keeps to the traditional flavors and ideas of authentic Thai. It gives thos who may be interested in japans, and suhi to that, and vice veersa, as both types of food are served here.

The food is served mildly, but can be ordered to different levels of spicyness.

Lunch and Dinner entrees are served with rice, and side salad.

Cully's Restaurant
This family owned restaurant has been open for over 46 years. Little has changed since it's opening, and that's the way people like it. With portions of pancakes larger than your plate, and at least 14 different types of omelets, it's no wonder this restaurant has been in business for so many years. Its hearty helping and friendly down hoe atmosphere is what keeps restaurant goes coming back. Not to mention they have an all you an eat biscuits and gravy for under $5.00. To add to the already large portions, each meal comes with generous portions of potatoes, vegetables, and soup or salad. Talk about comfort food!

House on the Hill Restaurant
This little comfy restaurant sits atop a hill in Poway (hence the name) and is a place you can feel right at home in. It's known for its warm and friendly service. So be sure not to be in a rush, but sit back, relax and enjoy the meal, all the way through dessert.

The restaurant has both cozy and intimate indoor and outdoor seating, including a fireplace, and wine bar.

Two appetizers of the list that are sure to give a try are the crab-stuffed Portobello mushrooms, fried calamari.

They offer a great seafood platter as well as Porterhouse, and filet mignon steaks. Be sure to try their pairings of wine, with over 54 types in their selection.

Although the restaurant is known for it's cozy and romantic atmosphere, don't be afraid to stop by for lunch. They serve great lunch sandwiches, and have a fresh soup of the day. Lastly, you can't leave without sampling at least one of their mouth watering desserts.

Sipz Fusion Cafe
The great thing about Sipz is that it blends Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai, and offers a Vegan restaurant with only a few dishes that are otherwise.

Although the dishes will be called such things as Chicken and noodles, is actually a tofu and soy based mock chicken. Be sure to try the Siamese shrimp which blends broccoli, bamboo shoots and shrimp. Again, as with the chicken, shrimp I actually a soy based tofu stir-fried in an oyster, soy and garlic sauce to give it the feel and taste of shrimp. All of these tasty vegan meals can be ordered separately, and come with rice, or can also be ordered family style to shared with everyone.
